Introduction
Mary Lou Anderson was a founder of the ABE Consortium. In honor of her gently indomitable spirit, the ABE Consortium, with the support of the Bemis School of Art, established a scholarship program for junior high/middle school students. In 2007 the scholarship opportunities were extended to all El Paso County elementary students and to include the areas of art enrichment opportunities in dance, visual art, music, literature and theater. Students are nominated for this award by their art teachers and principals.
Mary Lou Anderson Scholarship donations are accepted throughout the year.
Joyce Robinson was one of the founding members of the Arts Business and Education Consortium. Joyce had a generous and creative spirit that supported arts teachers throughout her career. The Joyce Robinson Arts Teacher Micro Grant was created to continue to support arts teachers for special projects, continuing education to include arts equipment and supplies.
